How I Style Crop Tops!

Hi everyone!
This post is all about "How I style crop tops" Lookbook. If you havn't seen it, Pop by say hello, subscribe. Yaaaay!! :)

I have noticed a few people online asking fellow fashion bloggers to do these so I have compiled together a few different looks to give you a bit of inspiration! Remember to just have fun with colour! Layering and textures. That seems to be my rule in everyday outfits. Colour, layering. texture. I think a bit of each makes and outfit stand out from the rest whether it would be a little pop of colour on a necklace and a great big chunky knit cardi. These things work perfff! :D

In my first look I have followed this rule! Cardi is full of texture, so warm too! So that covers layering too! And lastly my pop of colour from those lovely BamBam galaxy shorts! I think it works great, I thought there was no need for a necklace because these short shorts are so awesome.

My second look is my favourite I must admit. I feel so Hip Hop in this! Lol! Mixing these textures and fabrics is awesome. It might not be for everyones taste but you could dress it down with a black high waisted jean instead of those ultra shiney disco pants! Ive gone for a pleather turtle neck crop top I picked up from New Look. Its perfect for a night out even though its a turtle neck! The material is damn sexy! Seeing as I went for an all black outfit I decided to team it up with a chunky gold chain. It pops so much against the black. Perfect :) You can dress this look down a bit by swapping the pleather crop top over for a cropped tee. The one I have chosen is so pretty. I'm one of those people that has to feel up clothes. I'm all about comfortable, soft fabrics. So this one was a must have, SO SOFT! The colour is beautiful, it doesn't come up on camera very well but it is grey with the slightest blue tone in it. The fact its tie-dye keeps it more casual.

My third look is the most dressed down. Perfect for errand running or nippin' out to the shops. I have done a layering trick here. Where you get two uses out of each top. I'm wearing a lovely sage green coloured(for the pop!) loose tank with an Aztec print cropped tee layered over the top. I love how these compliment each other! Where the cropped tee is figure hugging it cinches you in at the waist so the loose tank top flows out. I have teamed it with a pair of plain black leggings mainly because I don't think It needs any other patterns or texture. Also they are so comfy! Yeheee! For shoesies I went for a light coloured bootie. This is where I think it needed a bit of colour to stand out. The delicate gold floral print is just beautiful. The mixture of a rough and tough style boot and the pretty floral print is just up my ally! :)

Lastly, my fourth outfit I went for a more stylish work look. I feel this would be perfect for some kind of fashion event or serious do! I'm wearing a long sleeve low cut black crop top form Topshops basic range layered on top of a creamy/white peter pan collared sleeveless shirt. Teamed up with a lovely comfy jersey material tapered trouser to smarten it up even more. For the shoesies I went for a different texture, a black patent heel to mix it up. For my jewellery I went for a pop of colour with this really sweet, yet disturbing cameo necklace. It is a skull of a lady with a beautiful red rose in her hair. It is by far my favourite necklace, but I am scared of wearing it incase I break it. So I'm saving it for best! :)

Thank you guys!!!!
Over and out!

Winter | Spring Transition Outfits

Hello everyone!! :)

Just writing a follow up of my Winter | Spring Transition Outfits video going into a bit more detail of why and what etc etc. I am a bit of a big New Look fan btw. If you haven't seen the video then here it is!

Outfit No.1
This look I just went for a casual day look. Awesomely comfy for running errands and what have you! Trench coats are a staple in anyones wardrobe(I think) They are so versatile. You can layer them up for colder months or just throw them on over a top in warmer ones. And they are perfect for rainy days! That's why it is perfect for spring, we get the most varied weather in the U.K. Structured and stylish so are appropriate for any activity. Like a job interview or walking the doggie :)

The one I am wearing is a couple years old now so I am not sure it's available anymore. Its by the brand Apricot You can buy online or some New Look stores supply the concession.

The Tie-Dye Tee I am wearing is from New Look! Such a great buy. I think it was only £9.99! Such a comfortable material so hopefully it will be light and cool for summertime too! I Love a bit of tie-dye in summer! Brightens up anyones day!

The leggings I'm wearing are from Next. You cannot tell from the video but they are a crushed velvet material. We all know velvet was huge in winter 2012 but just goes to show you don't have to hide them away in spring! Mix it up! :)

My creepers are Also from New Look. I LOVE THESE. Don't have much else to say on the matter.
 ^_^
Jewellery is ALSO from New Look. Most of the items are still in store. But unfortunately they aren't online.

Lips: Revlon Lip Butter - Crème Brulee
Perfect for pale redheads! :)

BEANIES, I LOVE BEANIES.

Outfit No.2
This outfit I went for a more smart officey work look :)
OK, start off with the blazer! What a spring essential. Wear them as a jacket once it gets warmer damn it! I chose to buy this grey one from New Look because its got a lovely black collar, which i think sets it off nicely. Its a great fit on me, it's boxy but not so much I look top heavy. Cinches in nice at the waist too. Nothing too dramatic!!

My shirt is also a New Look piece. Its slightly longer at the back so its perfect for leggings too to dress it down. The collar is JUST adorable. Curved peter pan styleeee. I think this type of collar adds a hint of femininity. Marvelous!

Next, my trousers, which are from Next. They are a jersey material(SO COMFY!) hareem pant/tapered trouser. I am in love, I want every crazy print! Like these
I think they are wonderful, and teamed with  heels and shirt for a dressed up look or with a pair of sandals and a crop top for summer days! VERSATILE. Which I love.

Just wearing my beautiful creepers again. Cannot get enough!

Jewellery I am wearing a rather gangsta gold chain necklace. I'm in love with these! I've just bought a massive new one too >_< This one is from New Look. Click here to see. Its buy one get one free on all jewellery, hair accessories and watches at the moment so go grab a bargain!!

Outfit No.3
This oufit is all about a night out! :D Apologies for my boyfriend talking about piss and me shivering. Was blimming hilarious though. Maaaah! It was freeezing out!
Anyway the crop top is from New Look
PERFECT for spring/summer. I Love the whole aztec prints and the colours are nice and bright. Cheer you up they do!! :) The crop top is a lovely jersey material so its massively comfortable and fits beautifully! So pleased with this buy!! Nice one New Look :)

Next my disco pants! These were huge in winter 2012 and are going to remain for the most part I think! I love them. Suck you in, silky so they are damn comfy! I Love comfort in clothing. Especially if you are out and about all day/night :) These ones have not got the pockets at the back like the almighty American Apparel ones. They are also New Look! :) They currently out of stock of these Parisian ones but they do some great alternatives! Like these Under £20!!!! :O So good.

On my feeties I have a pair of black sandal flatform/platform wedges. They have heavy gold hardware makes them look on the expensive side. They are easier than most to walk in but then again I am far from an expert! Ha! flatforms and wedges are always huge in summer and I think these will see me through :)

Lastly, My BEAUTIFUL necklace. The fake sharks teeth and silver spikes give a bit of egdyness and grungyness. So Its great for the daytime and evening! I literally nearly wear it everyday. Here it is.
Its still available!! I hope it does for a while because I might have to buy another incase one breaks it!! :)

The location its filmed is in Penryn, Cornwall, U.K. In  lovely little wood. Was such a lovely setting I just had to take advantage!

So there we have it! Sorry it took time for me to put this post up! Naughty naughty *slaps wrists*

Hope you all have a lovely day, week, month, year!

Lots of love

Joining the YouTube community! :)

Well, well well! Ive joined the youtube community.......
Just a short little blogpost to tell y'all how i feel about it!
It makes me happy! :D

Everyone has been welcoming, offering advice and support or even checking my videos out and subscribing!

Filming these style lookbooks and outfits is the most fun I have had for a while. After all fashion and style in my eyes is my form of self expression. It used to be painting and drawing but I made the worst mistake of my life by studying art in college. Some people it helps, but me it stunted that creative part of me. I think it was just because it was forced out of me. I had to sit there for 7-8 hours a day producing work that I hated everything about. That had no feeling, emotion or connection related to me. That makes me sad! So I'm even more extra  EXTRA happy I have jumped on the fashion youtuber bandwagon and feel like I can share my style life with some of you :) Express myself!

Fashion has been a big part in my life though, since I was wee. My mum dressed me so well while I was a baby so maybe that rubbed off on me (Thanks mum!!) I remember seeing photos of me when I was around 3 or 4 years old with crazy headbands on and lovely red handmade Italian shoes! I was so lucky :)

I currently do not have posh equipment some youtubers have. I'm currently filming on my Samsung Galaxy Note 1 Smart phone with an 8 Megapixel camera and using AvidStuio editing software. So bare with me. Hopefully soon I can save up my hard earned cash and buy myself a posh camera and tripod and some extra lenses!! :D That would be sweeeeeeeeet! Ha!

But anyway I just want to mention a few people that have contributed to helping with my videos in anyway at all if that be editing, music making, support in general, advice, tips, promoting! I am so thankful!!!!

Thank you guys so much again! Appreciate your help and support :)

I am well on my way now and hopefully will provide everyone with some weird and wonderful style/fashion/stupid/weird vlog videos that will make you laugh, smile and maybe do a little wee! Haha! Im guna shut up now. TMI.

Next blogpost will be about my Winter | Spring Transition Outfits video. Just going to go into more detail about each outfit and the location :)

Lots of love and weird shiz
