Hellooooo
Today I want to talk about dogs :)
First off, I shall start by introducing the one that's lucky enough to be in my home and being spoilt rotten all the time!!
Here's Orla:
She's a 1 year old female Golden Retriever. Golden Retrievers are often seen as dumb dogs but in my opinion it's the same with humans. You win some and you've just lost some. She is definitely the most intelligent dog Ive had. I taught her two tricks just last night :D
My Orla's got the heart of gold. She got into my heart the first day I saw her, With her little bead eyes. Ha!! I think once a dog gets into your heart they know. And then they let you in theirs forever. Shes a very loyal dog but also independent at the same time which is a great combo. She doesn't rely on you, She does things for herself when she wants to. Shes massively stubborn but I think its just a funny trait to have. She HATES getting in the car, even though Ive tried to relate the car to treats, walks. In the end I have to pick her up and throw her in with the help of my mum(Shes not the lightest of dogs). Orla is also one of the most athletic dogs Ive ever had. My previous Goldie Finn had hip AND elbow dysplasia, so we could not walk him very far, RIP old dude!! :) But anyway Orla can run and run and run. Makes me feel so happy when I see her run like a crazed animal. You can almost feel how shes feeling. Energised, excited, free!
All in all i think this blog will be probably filled with dog related nonsense and adventures. After all dogs are a mans best friend. I'm not a man but Orla sure is my best friend :)
Anybody recommend ways of getting your dog to get in the car?!?!
So this is it? My first ever blog post......I'm not really sure what to tell you other than I will be writing about everyday bullshit and everyday joys.
To start with I shall be talking about Digestive biscuits.......Yes BISCUITS. The Digestive gets so over-looked by other fancy biscuits but I find I always levitate back to the good old loyal and completely gorgeous Digestive. A friend once told me she thought they were good for you. Just because of the name she assumed it would be fine to scoff a whole big value pack but no.
I give you calorie and fat amounts :
Calories: 74
Calories from Fat: 28
Total fat: 3.1gPER BISCUIT.
Each biscuit is 5% of your daily fat intake. It's madness! How could they produce such a biscuit. No wonder everyone's obese. Why can't these huge food companies just put less fat and sugar into our foods. Surely that would benefit the nation. Keep NHS costs down and food prices down??
Conclusion
I bloody love digestive biscuits they comfort me so much but I could give them up for the nation.
